Can anyone recommend a nice affordable leather holster for this revolver? Mostly will be backpacking/hiking with this revolver. Would like it to have a strap to hold it in.

    4" or 6"?....

Do you have any requirements? Leather or nylon or Kydex?
There are a few top firms for budget holsters. Id suggest spending a bit more for a long lasting design that can hold up to outdoor/range use.
See; Blade-tech, Wright Leather Works, Galco, Bianchi-intl, DeSantis, El Paso Saddlery, Kramer, Milt Sparks, Tex Shoemaker, Don Hume.

No real requirements. Just want it with a strap. Will
Be on my hip when I go into the backwoods or hiking.

    Simplyrugged.com ....

The chest harness rigs from Simply Rugged aren't bad either.
You might want the weight of your sides or hips if you plan to hike or be active.
Mernickle has some good outdoor holsters with leather materials.
note: the firm states the popular camo style leather rigs are out of stock until further notice. They look cool but might not be for every gunner. :D
