Frandy...I like your "basic" version better than any I've seen! Does S&W have a specific designation for this 1911? Thanks, also in NC.

It's this model if I'm not mistaken, the lowest 1911 on smiths list, but like you, its the one I really want. I've seen them in the $700-750 range in Charlotte shops
