S&W SW99 compact in .40S&W for $350.

  1. Get it. That's a great price for a decent pistol.

  2. Wait. There will be more for that price or less because a lot of folks don't like the triggers.

I've been wanting a S&W SW99 compact for a while. I found a used one that doesn't even look like it has been fired for $350. I need help deciding to pick it up or not.

If you have shot it, and you like the trigger go for it. I feel that a pistol choice is a personal thing, take any advice with a grain of salt,go with what feels good to you.

The trigger is no wierder than many of the other type that people have gotten themselves used to. I'd get it... too bad it's a .40 though. :-(

What is wrong with .40? I don't own any guns in that caliber so I am curious.

I'm well stocked in 9 and 45. I'm not entirely interested in stocking practice and practical ammo a third caliber.

    nothing wrong with 40S&W.

at $350 I would suggest buyer beware. little low. maybe send it in to S&W. but if all looks good and you try it out and it works get a fine pistol.
