Looked at one last week, $499. Thinking of one in .300 Win. Mag. Has
anyone out there had any experience with one. For the $$ seems like a good
buy, thought of putting one of the new Redfields on it. Thanks for any advice.

No experience, but I think the TC Venture has a lot going for it. The features that it offers in the package is hard to beat for the money.
Hopefully, someone with hands on experience will chime in.

I just bought one in .243 a few weeks ago. I'm having a slight problem with the bolt being difficult to close when feeding a live round. The gun is very accurate and the trigger is great. I was at MC Sporting Goods in Grand Rapids, MI today and saw they had the Venture for $399.99. If you haven't already bought yours, I'd shop around before paying that price. I paid $469 for mine at Cabelas and was about sick when I seen it $70 cheaper at MC today!!!!!
