Is the front sight post on a T53 welding on or is it press fitted? As you know, I've rescued a bubba but its beyond restoring it to near original. Its a great shooter though so I'm going to turn it into a compact, lightweight scout. Since I'll be replacing the rear sight with a scout mount, having a front sight is a mute point. I'll leave it if I have to but I'd like to make it as clean as possible.
