Talking Myself Into Another Beretta

That would be the beretta 92 stock combat I believe. It usually has a bushing around the front of the barrel in front of the slide. Don't know why that one does not. Its not a normal import to the US. I have been emailing beretta as to why and so has Faustulus, they answered simply "we have no plans at this time to import them". And I asked WHY NOT. Please email them and ask for it also.

Skunk I figured Faust would fill you in on the x-five but I guess not. Look at the sigsauer site and its under sport I think. Its not in the sigarms page yet. Its a five inch 15mm barrel with frame mounted safty, built in jet funnel magwell, match type sites, all steel, adjustable trigger. Its built for IPSC. They also have a 226 all steel normal length with extended controls, match sites and heavy barrel.

I want a 92 combat might get a elite II to get buy, but their lack of ability to make the steel I with the right grip or import the combat may drive me to buy something else:banghead:

Not that I'm remotely interested in a Sig 226, but what's an X5?
Well since you aren't even the least bit interested ...

Ugly sigs why would you want one.....wonder what they go for? That would be a rocking ESP gun. I am sure its $1200-1300 or more.

Has anyone seen the Beretta Steel I's yet, I saw one Friday along with the elite II in a sporting goods place in a mall of all places. Bismark ND. The steel I is pretty cool if it had the reg grip. It is pretty shiny not used to that on a Beretta. Its heavy if you didnt hit your target with it you could beat it to death with no problem. It can't have hardly any felt recoil. The price was $1300. The frame mounted safty stuck out more then I like in the back of the grip where your thumb wraps around, of course I am used to 2011-1911's safty. Looked like you could round the corners down eazy enough.

Wow!! I wish they imported that model
email them. I have, tac has and hopefully if we get enough they will realize it is their best interest to bring it here. long shot but doesn't cost anything.
So Tac are you coming home with a new toy?

Tritto. :(

The X5 looks neat...but Nina treats me good at IPSC.

I think 45R might like that gat though. Frame mounted safety = C&L?

The Sig X-Five is on my list of Sig goodies. Its only 1750 Euros which = over 2K USD. :uhoh: Extended slide and frame with SA only trigger. Looks like a 220EL on roids.

I'm looking forward to checking out the 229 w new DAK trigger! Get those DAKs while you can. 6.5lb DAO trigger! They are going to be scarce due to Sigs new Gov contracts.

That Beretta SD is nice!!!!
