This is what it says for the Remington XR 100. Does this mean that it could damage it if you were to say shoot Wolf or cheap Remington UMC through it?:confused:
 
Those are probably just weasel words used by Remington so that they don't have to fix it under warranty if something breaks while shooting crap ammo.
 
Maybe that's why Remington has discontinued the XR-100? Was never impressed with them. Just a cheap version of their superior 40 XB!
 
hmmm.

i haven't looked at mine lately, but it thought it said "target use only". and i think it is because the 40x trigger is adjustable to easily go below the advertised 2.5lbs.

I have shot any 223 under the sun through mine, most well sub MOA (beleive it or not wolf too) haven't seen a moments hiccup. I think it what the lawyers wanted to agree to put the good trigger on one.
 
Oh, it may have said that. I'll need to check it out next time I am at the store. Thanks for clearing that up!
