Just noticed Target Sports USA advising to "expect 8-10 business day shipping delay."
And that appears to be the case, too. Put in a small order June 9; no movement on it to date so far. Listed on the my orders page as "awaiting tracking number."
Bummer.
Wonder if this is an effect of Phase II of the panic surge, Phase 1 being 'the Rona and Phase II being the protests?
Not much to be done about it, I guess. Target Sports is about as well run an ammo outfit as there is, IME.
Ah, well, time to learn some patience.

I have used them exclusively for the last several years. I DID notice a pretty substantial increase in ammo prices with my favorite Speer 9mm 124 going from .18 to .28/ea. My LGS guy is a cop and he said price to LEO departments haven't changed, only to the retail side of things - from ALL makers

SGammo also has a delay up to 10 days and their site was down for a while last night. Their prices on 9mm seemed too high a month ago but they sold out twice since then. Good thing most of us are prepared for this but I still like dollar cost averaging so I buy when I find a relatively good deal.

I am a member and use them exclusively and get a order delivered about every 5-7 days. I also am on their alert system for any disired ammo that I want so I can order right away before it sells out.

Yep, must be the run is heating back up.
Don't mean to rag on Target Sports. I think they do a good job. Just took prime membership, myself. Saved nearly a $20 on my first order, so looks like that will pay for itself fairly quickly.

Are you using their paid Prime Membership then? If so, how do you like it? I like the aspects about getting lower prices and free shipping on less than case quantities; just not sure if I could cover that cost.....

I covered the cost in about 10 orders between free shipping and 8% off. It's nice to order small amounts and not pay shipping. Best $95 investment.

Didn't realize the buying panic was coming back for a second wave. Seen Target USA go up to 3 weeks for delivery and then back down to normal. Guess people are still a little jumpy.

I think it will work out for me, too; probably should have gotten it sooner than I did.

For myself, I have more than covered the cost of shipping with the Prime membership. I think last year, I had almost 40 orders. This year looks like I will have more than that. My orders are always mixed. Like 250 rds of one brand of 380 along with some Buckshot and Some 9mm. Next week, it will be more 9 mm, but perhaps defense ammo of a few different brands, Some bulk 22.cal etc. There have been times when I order about 10 different brands of 9mm, all at the bulk rate. I shoot a lot of Buckshot, Usually order a few bulk boxes with each order. Lately a whole lot of Rimfire.

I get the impression (could be wrong) that they put Prime members ahead of the list for shipping. Their shipping is unusually fast most especially for the insanity of what is going on now.
All that said, I think ammo is getting harder to get in inventory each day.

I am going to have to look into; the wife ABUSES Amazon Prime (wish I could get her to buy some damn stock ); the ability to buy 1 or 2 boxes of something to try is what is calling me.

My last order with target sports USA took close to 3 weeks to arrive. I'm not a member though. I think there's definitely a second run on ammunition. My local fleet farm store has a huge sporting goods section and a really good selection of ammunition. Today the shelves were bare. Not a single box of 9,40, 45, 223/556 or 7.62/308. The 22 section was almost bare too. Normally there's well over 500,000 rounds of cheaper bulk and another 2-3 hundred thousand rounds of cheaper 50 round boxes. There wasn't a single 50 round box, and only 3, 325 round boxes of cheaper bulk. Still lots of expensive mini mags and 22 wmrs though.

We all need to calm down. It's amazing to see how a few things can cause so many to panic. This is why being prepared is important though.

I’ve had three orders ship since March 15th (that was when I ordered ammo instead of vacation). The first one did take a few weeks to ship a case of .45-70 and a case of .44mag, but subsequent orders have moved along nicely. Longer than usual, but not ridiculous.

I received two "Back In Stock" alerts from Target Sports USA on June 9. They were for PPU 7mm-08 140 grain PSPBT and PPU 7.62X25mm 85 grain JHP returning to stock. I'd say that's a sign merchant shipping between the USA & Europe is picking back up! I know the 7mm-08 is the same price as it previously was, I honestly don't know whether the price of the 7.62X25mm JHP changed.

If you are ordering 9mm JHP's or 5.56mm its really tough right now. Everything else seems to be somewhat in stock. Quality 40 S&W ammo is there like always but the newer guns chambered for it not so much. Ammo and gun deliveries do seem to be delayed across the board. All things considered it could be worse. I think there is so much capacity in this country that it would be hard to have a long term period with shortages. I usually do not buy anything in an election year because this is what typically happens. The news cycle is making it even worse. I probably spent 5k in guns and ammo last year in anticipating sitting 2020 out, although I couldn't help myself and just picked up a 10mm revolver.

Went to the LGS the other day. Only place for 50 miles to buy pistol ammo. Completely wiped out of ALL 9mm, 5.56, 7.62x39, and .40 S&W. It's all gone.

So I bought 9mm bullets, some more brass and primers, and cranked out another 100 rounds of ammo last night on a single-stage press. Doing much less shooting lately to conserve my modest stockpile.

I recently ordered from TargetSports and didn’t experience a delay. I ordered on 6-6 and received on 6-12. I selected the FedEx Ground option. Looking back on their website, they no longer have the 9mm pdx1 rounds I ordered, and they did have a bunch in stock.

Target has been moving a lot if ammo. Availability changes very quickly.

I just received my last order of 9mm from them, ordered 6/12 received 6/17. My previous order of .22lr placed on 6/10 has not shipped yet. Go figure.

My experience is that they usually meet the target dates for shipping and have had no issues with them.

Ordered a couple .22LR products that were advertised as in stock on 6/9, but order still hasn't moved to shipping. I'll let the full 10 business days go by before I inquire, though. They're a very decent outfit and I'm sure they'll handle it.
I figure If one of the best of the online ammo retailers is having problems, we might be into one of those gonzo weird stages, so there's no use getting would up about the small stuff.
Keepin' calm, carryin' on ... might even switch to half-caff. ;)

The way guns are flying off the shelves because olf the current political issues, I would also imagine the ammo is flying off the shelves too.

Apparently so. Just checked .22lr availability at Target Sports USA. Even the match-grade selection is down from what it was a week or two ago.

No doubt.....If you need gas during a shortage time and all they have is premium, you'll grit your teeth and fill the tank.
