taser shotgun shells

Hi,

I'm not LE, but can I get taser shotgun shells? How? I want to use a kel tec dual toggle mag shotgun and put taser shells in one mag and buckshot in the other. I could try the taser for non-lethal force first against a home invader/ robber, and if necessary, press the toggle switch to use buckshot if the taser is ineffective.

However, I can't find any taser shells for sale to civilians, but I checked with my lawyer, it's not illegal. so, what gives?

No, they're not for sale to Civilians. Putting LL and Lethal ammo in the same gun is a horrible idea.

Sounds like a bad plan anyway.

You are a better man then most if you think you can switch mags or loads under the pressure of a home invasion.

A terrible idea for so many reasons, and I don't think taser will sell you the shells anyway. Additionally, I believe those shells are designed specifically not to work in a standard shotguns chamber.

but putting less lethal and more lethal in the same platform is a terrible idea.

police have been known to fire a handgun instead of a pistol-like taser in a moment of stupidity (or malice, depending on your initial assumptions)

If lethal force is needed, you need ral lethal force, not some half measure or delay tactic

If you have enough $$$ to buy Taser shotgun shells to shoot out of a KelTec, you can probably afford your own police department anyway. Only price I've seen quoted for them is $160/round...
