I've had a couple of the original 24/7s and they have been perfect. The only complaint I have is the lack of adjustable sights.

I can only tell you about my history with the brand going back over 20 years. I have owned 7 Taurus handguns 3 revolvers and 4 auto's. I have not had any problems with any of them. I have a 24/7 that I have had for only a couple of months and only about 500 rounds and I really enjoy it.
