Problem: Taurus TCP 380, pulling the trigger brought the hammer back to approximately the full cock position, but did not release it. No joy!

Shipped it to Taurus via FedEx at 12:58:48 PM CST (from Iowa) on Thursday, November 5th.

Got it back at 5:55 PM CST on Friday, November 13th. Eight days!

The lady at Taurus had told me to expect it to take six to twelve weeks.

From all I’ve seen on the websites I expected seven to 14 weeks!

The repair ticket was sparse. They “adjusted” the pistol. Fired 12 test rounds.

So, this time Taurus customer service gets a couple of brownie points.

I had a similar experience with the one Taurus I had to send back a few years ago. The CSR on the phone wasn't all that encouraging, but once I sent it I think I got it back in just under 3 weeks. Sparse notes about repairs but it was definitely fixed.

What was the city in the address you mailed to? Taurus opened a factory in Bainbridge, GA a little while back...just wondering if they are fixing all their stuff here now too. It was a big deal for our little town.

That is a relief. My experiences have not been good but I won't bash them any more. There's always hope.
