I dumped all three magazines to check function in my new Taurus G3c 40S&W. It's about as snappy as my lighter Ruger 9mm LC9s due to the more weight.

I went ahead and finished the box of Blazer 165gr FMJ ammo, and the Taurus functioned flawlessly and reasonably accurately. For a $240.00 compact I rate it as a good value, especially that it comes with three magazines. The weight with 10 in the double-stack is noticeably more than the LC9s Ruger with 7 in the single stack. Some wouldn't like the rough Taurus grip, but I won't be running it hard at all, and I like the positive grip of the rough texture.

I'll probably keep using the LC9s as my everyday CC and use the Taurus as my vehicle gun and as my carry up at our mountain campground, where black bears are frequent visitors.

This big boar walked by while we were burning burgers last summer.

Is there a 10? Or a .45? Either better than 40 but where I live its all academic. IL has very few bears or pigs. A few tweakers, however.
I'm warming back up to T guns. Not the J size but the autos and big revolvers are good to go.

I also have a very smooth and dependable Taurus snubby 44 Mag we keep there and a semi-auto 12ga loaded with 3" 00 Buck and last shot a slug. My 1911 is just too heavy for me to carry anymore.

The newer Taurus guns I've shot and looked over are a big step up in quality, IMO.

I had one in 9mm. It was a nice little gun, I just couldn't get use to the double strike trigger on it so I ended up selling it.
