I am not sure I made a thread on this before. I got a G3C a year ago and it was great and reliable. I ended up selling it. This week there was a sale on them at a local hardware store for $199. I got one and this time I'm keeping it. These guns are reliable and made just as well as other striker guns. I shoot Glocks , M&P's , and Canik's as far as striker guns go. The only thing that I don't like is the roll pins. But there are good and expensive guns that use roll pins. This gun runs and works great. Plus it has metal sights from the factory unlike Glock. If you need an extra gun to take fishing or to throw in your tool box , this will do the job and not put a big dent in your billfold. At $199 with 2 magazines , it's a great deal !

Got one for my daughter for like $175 last summer. Decent for the money but you can see the difference in quality with the finish and barrels. Not bad just not quite as good. I did swap out a few of the plastic internals for stainless which gives me more confidence in the pistol.

Enjoy yours and shoot often.

Mine runs great as well. As I said elsewhere, “runs like it’s a Glock, gets talked about like it’s a Lorcin.”.

Mine will eat everything except the Fiocchi Range Dynamics. Unfortunately that’s the first round I tried in the gun and I almost gave up on it then and there. Glad I didn’t as it’s run every thing else without a bobble.

Picked up a G2C three years ago. It shoots very well. Worth the $170 I paid for it. Was thinking about getting a G3.

I try to not like them, but it ain't easy.
I have a PT111 Millenium Pro, a PT111G2c and a G3.
I had a G2C in brown, but traded it to my son for a Taurus 605 Polymer.
The G3C and G2C both fit my hand really well.
The trigger isn't the best but it's way better than some more expensive guns.

No. The G3 can take SIG-Sauer P226 magazines (but not viceversa). I guess the G2C and the G3C can also take P226 magazines.
Thank you 5-SHOTS. I was curious about that though I didn’t expect it would take Sig P226 mags. Interesting. I am actually trying to get one of those now, the P226 Mk25.

I may also have to look into a Taurus just for fun.

I picked up a G3C at the beginning of the year ($230 OTD). I had shoulder replacement surgery in late Nov '24, and couldn't operate my 1911 properly. The G3C filled in big time.
Smallish with 13 rounds available with 3 mags. It has been very reliable with 147gr JHPs. May have to make time for it now that I can use the 1911 again. I was surprisingly impressed
with this pistol.

I have both, the P226 and the G3.

I made reviews of both:

I learned about magazines interchangeability between these two pistols on youtube. I made my own tests and the P226 magazine works on the G3 (it's however a tight fit on the magazine well). The G3 15 rounds magazine instead is too short for the P226. Maybe the 17 rounds magazine without the sleeve can fit in the P226 but I expect a loose fit and alot of rattle. I don't have a 17 rounds magazine for the G3 to try on the P226 because my G3 was shipped with two 15 rounds magazines.
