I recently started carrying my Taurus Judge hunting. The only problem is the tiny grip option Crimson Trace offers. Hunting in Florida allows for Open Carry so I wanted bigger grips. I found a set of wooden grips in my stuff that I liked packed the open area with clay and bought a product called Dragonskin to make a mold of them. I then fit the laser grips in the mold trimming one small spot on the finger guid to fit keeping in mind I’m only casting the lower two thirds of the laser grip. Sprayed Teflon dry lube in the mold as release agent. Concerned with adhesion I bought a tube of PL Roof Flashing Black Polyurethane at THD shot it into the bottom edge of the mold and up the center half way guessing how much would be enough. Then clamping in place favoring the upper portion of the laser grip making sure the wet area didn’t go to far up the grip and grip didn’t squeeze down below the mold face. It took 8 days to cure enough to remove from the mold checking each day by pulling on the mold to see if the poly was cured. One light coat if flat spray paint will remove the poly feel. Grips are by no means perfect but now fit my hand. Pic attached
