    Anyone own one?
    I bought one for 350.00
Model 44 Stainless Steel 6.5" ported barrel
I figured I all ways wanted one and for 350.00
If I didn't like it I wouldn't be out much.
I know this sounds dumb but it IS ok to shoot .44 Special out of it?
    Just wanted to confirm this.

Will it hold up being a Taurus?

As far as durability can't say but Taurus has a lifetime warranty and firing 44 specials out of it will do no harm,in fact you can fire 44 Russian in it as well.
Just remember to clean the chambers out so 44 mag ammo will fit.

I have one, I bought it about 4 years ago.

I have never had a single problem with it. Its accurate and 100% reliable. I would not hesitate to buy another Taurus revolver.

I've had my M44 in blue for a number of years. I dislike cleaning the ports but the gun shoots great and shows no looseness after 1,000 full power and 5,000 mid power loads. I disliked the rubber grip and got a Hogue wooden grip and it looks real good now too.:)
