I'm on a budget and a gun shop near my city has one new at a good price.
It seems to have a good reputation and it has features I like alot.
What's your first hand experience about this pistol? Accuracy, reliability, durability?

I had one a while back and did a review on it. For the price it's really not bad. Fit and finish aren't perfect but it's a budget gun. DA pull is a little rough but manageable, will probably smooth out as time goes by. Mine was accurate enough for its use and extremely easy and fun to shoot. Very light recoil. For the right price I think it's a good gun. You can also look for mod 1 XDs. I just got a subcompact for 199.

The PT809 is the predecessor to the TH9 and from the reviews I've read, both are a pretty accurate, reliable pistol. I recently bought their big brother, a TH40 and am extremely impressed with it. I've only fired 200 rounds so far and it's been 100% reliable and just as accurate as any of my other full size pistols. About the only issues I've heard about them is that a few have broken a firing pin after 1000 or so rounds, but that happens to every brand of gun. If that PT809 is that good of a price, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I saw a video of a TH9 that broke the firing pin during the review while shooting. Pretty embarassing but Taurus took care of that and the review was later completed.
If I'll purchase it I'm probably going to put a few hundred rounds (from 500 to 1000) per year, considering the other pistols in my rotation.
As I said I like its features and I also like its look.
