So now it's late fall, is it. If you want stainless, you'd better find something else. Personally, I'm waiting for the 9mm version. I might get a little tired of waiting and get that Para P18 I've been looking at over at Davidson's.

I've seen one shop carry PT1911s locally. They sell them pretty quickly. First one was $499. Last few have been $550.

I got mine just before x-mas for about $450. They seem to have taken a jump lately, though. I keep seeing them for about $525, now. Or $700 some, for the lasergrip version.

I'm waiting for the B3 version (ie commander profile). There are plenty of full-size 1911s in the Taurus price range, but none in the price range that the B3 will supposedly be at which are Commanders.

Not that the one out now isn't a good deal; it's a great deal. I just want one for carry.

Local shop just had one of the PT1911s for sale with the laser grip for $799. No thanks.

$509 is cheapest you'll find them new out west. Keiths guns had them when nobody else did.
Stainless is on the way (no time frame yet) as well as officers model 4".

Great gun, Have one w/ no regrets.:)

    Taurus 1911 price

In Southeast Missouri you can't find a blued Taurus 1911 cheaper than $559. I"m hoping the stainless will be here before I retire in 2013

Bought mine late last year for $450.00. A few weeks ago I bought one for my Dad at the same place and it was $530.00. If you ask me it is worth every bit of twice that price. just find a local dealer that has one and pick it up, you wont be disapointed at any price ;)
