Taurus PT738 TCP- who has one and how is it?

bds you cost me some money with your above post!

I ended up buying two TCP 738 pistols, Whittaker's last in-stock PT111 G2, and a pair of the 738 Magazines from North River, all at delivered prices lower than my last wholesale purchase. I did not need any of them, but the deals were too good to pass up.

I had been getting e-mails from Whittaker Guns about their Grand Re-opening Sale and that 15% discount on eligible items makes a difference so I spent a little extra time shopping their website.

Still didn't give me a good feeling about the gun when I would load it and fail to feed into the chamber. Maybe it fired fine and maybe it was a jam o matic. Either way it is someone else problem or reliable carry weapon.
Yep. Hand cycling ammo thru a gun is one thing, but when you pull the slide back to chamber a round and the bullet jams its nose into the feed ramp, that is quite another thing.

sounds like a mag problem? these little mouse guns live right on the edge of reliability compared to full sized and compact pistols. you can't treat them the same.

They're not in the Taurus catalog but I wonder if they're still being made.

It seems like there are too many of them to just be inventory in the pipeline.
