Found one for trade, but this is a smokeless gun. I still have a bunch of 45Colt black powder rounds left over. Can the Range Bull handle the pressure of 45Colts with Starline case full of 3F Scwentzen black powder? Just thought it would be interested to shoot double action style black powder.

Well, the 454 Casull operates at notably higher pressures than even heavy 45 Colt smokeless loads, and those are even higher than BP loads, so yeah, you can do that just fine.

Given that the old 1873 Single Action and 1878 Double Action with soft 19th century steel and paper-thin cylinder walls could withstand old balloon-head cases (which have more internal volume than a tough modern case) filled with black powder . . . I certainly would hope that a .454 Casull gun, designed to withstand four times the pressure, could handle them. :p
