LOL! Barrels that look like they were made with a hand chisel, recoil assembly that acts like a grinder causing damaged and cracked slides, sights that fly off and a 12 week turnaround to get them repaired. Yea Taurus got the tx22 right alright.

Oooh! I've been eyeing the TX22 since it came out. If the price on this one is somewhat reasonable, it might actually push me to buy one.

I really like my TX22. Paid $309 and think that was money well spent. Don't know if I'd pay an extra $250 or $300 but at a good price point I may be tempted. Add a sight to the deal and I'm afraid I'd be looking at a $800 .22lr. I don't think I'd do it. I do have a laser on my TX now but that may be as far as I'll go in that investment.

Kudos to Taurus for the idea though.

Well its listed on their site now, MSRP. $480. So $450 should be possible, probably less if these were normal times
