TB getting a break

Don't overdo it. I got out shooting tonight, another member on that other forum invited me to shoot with him at his club, and it was fun. I'd shot ATA there back in the '80's, it's changed a bit. Reacquainted myself with a guy who used to shoot at the club I worked at, and two guy I shoot leagues with were there shooting leagues for their teams there. I shot 4 rounds, I suggest you try 1 or 2 at most.

It will only be the league 50 bird event. 25 @ 16 yards and 25 @ 25, our handicap distance. Only two teams are at 26.

Gonna be rough. Lousy sleep last night. Therapy at 11:30 which will fire up the nerves. Off the pain meds, on the pain. Have to try it. A month away is too long.

23@16 yards, 22@25. Second half was rough but tied for high. Happy.

Second week back, 25/25@16, 22/25@25. High gun for team. Therapy the morning after was a breakthrough....only one pain location. Might survive this. Going squirrel hunting in the am.

25/25@16, lost focus and missed two of first five @25 yd, ran the rest for a 48 and high again. We will finish 3rd in top division.

Tomorrow is the last night for Peoria summer league. Team one and two have to skip it s we can win it all. Nah, I'm pleased to have a team in solid third in our second year in div one.
I'm taking three 870 trap guns so we can all shoot winners. Inside joke. The three of us shooting the cheap stuff have the highest averages.

Next up, inter club challenge, combo league and the home club cHampionship shoot.

We have our Fun Shoot tomorrow, potluck food, etc, sort of the substitute for a banquet, like most clubs do. Earlier Annie Oakleys, a sub-gauge Annie, (I will not be in that one, only have 12 gauges right now) Green birds broken get prizes. I got 2 boxes of Rios last year, woohoo!

Peoria league is over. My team finished third in top division behind the perennial first and second place teams. Gonna get 'em next year. I was second in the number of 25s recorded (with five or six others). One guy had a dozen.
Skipping a week and we start the combo league, trap and skeet. Out comes the 1100. or M12. or skeet barrel for 870. or 1100 20 ga. Heck, I'll just rotate through them.

we shot sunday, we had 34 shooters. I shot a 25-25 with my BT-100(love that shotgun) and a 22-25 with my 1187 trap. it was a very nice day, sunny with a little wind. we do have a few die hards in our group who will show up and shoot no matter the weather

Three weeks into combo league and we are two birds out of first. I'm creeping up the skeeters ladder week by week. 22, 22, 23 for the first three weeks. Don't miss the hard ones or the doubles. Always a couple easy ones.

Well, it's usually the straightaways in Trap, so that makes sense.
