Tech Sight for Ruger 10/22?

I like open sights and have not seen Ruger 10/22 target barrels with iron sights. Tech Sights makes one http://www.tech-sights.com/ruger3.htm The rear sight is like an AR15 aperture. The front slides onto a .920 target barrel.

Has anyone installed this? What was your experience? Is the suggested approach for attaching the front sight secure?

I had these and they are excellent. I can't tell you much more
because I traded my 10/22 for a case of Portuguese NATO ball.

They are great. I hear that the front sight adapter does OK. Best irons out their for the 10/22, and at a great price. They also give you a longer sight radius, and are a lot of fun.
