I was in a local gun shop today and looked rather closely at a Glock 23 Gen 4. I like the feel of the gun. But another customer remarked that that particular kind of gun is a "bomb in the hand" and that to prevent such an explosion I would have to spend another sum of money to replace the barrel. I've read about the unsupported chamber issue, etc. But I'm still tempted to buy the Glock. Thanks for your suggestions.
