I picked up one of these in good shape yesterday for $45. I have a couple of questions:
Where can I get bushings for shot and powder? The ones I have are in good shape, but I want to load more than 1 1/8 oz shot for 12 Ga.

The crimp die doesn't have any ribs for forming the star crimp like other loaders I've used. Can it still do star crimps, or am I stuck with roll crimping using an over-shot paper wad?

I did a ( www.dogpile.com ) search of "TEXAN MODEL D shotshell reloader" and came up with quite a few hits , most gave me the feeling it was a MEC reloader model from a few years back. Also it looks like some or all MEC parts may fit. For your shot and powder bushings, I have had good luck with an adjustable shot/ powder measure devise that replaces the whole bushing system and like it says it is adjustable. It is called a " Multi-scale Universal Charge Bar" and sells for around $30, but you don't have to buy any bushings if you change powder or want to try another load. It was listed in some of the search results as being available for the TEXAN. GOOD LUCK.
