Found this maker on the net and am interested in either the M40a3 or the M24 model. Are these rifles as good as they claim, 1/4" at 100yds with factory ammo? Any input is wanted, can't find anything through google.

TBA

I've one I purchased pre-owned about 7-8 years ago....an M40A1. It shoots very well but I've not used it a lot or reloaded for it to test groups as you were asking..FYI, I paid about $1700 for it without the scope. I think the new ones now are much more expensive, iirc.

I've no doubt it will make ragged hole groups but can't comment about the 1/4"...

When I installed my scope on the rifle, which came with the TBA rings, I was surprised that the rings were not lapped. They weren't egregiously "off" center or anything, but again I was surprised about this detail...

Don't get too caught up in accuracy claims. A rifle from a top smith will outshoot a majority of their owners. TBA is good to go but you're going to have a long wait. If you want a rifle of that type I recommend you also check out these smiths:

G.A. Precision
KMW/Terry Cross (no website)
RD Precision
Norcal Precision

There are a number of others, all of whom can give you a rifle that's just as good.
