No we haven't forgotten God, religion, and The Bible.

But trust me, to ArizonaTRex it is a "loss". We can look forward to the afterlife but he can't get in his pickup and go and see his Mama and have her hug his neck at the door anymore.

This thread is not the place for repremands, but one deserves another.

My heartfelt condolences ATR.......I've been through it.

In that picture, I can tell she's a special lady. My thoughts are with you.

We always miss our loved-ones, but they do "live-on" via those they raised and taught how to live the right way. What she taught you and others, keeps her alive in all of you. The world is a better place because she lived, and because of how she lived! God bless.

sorry to hear about your mom passing. the loss of your parents is a tough one. it happened way to early for me, as my mom was killed in an accident by a drunk driver. i was in my 20's. actually, your mom sounds more like my grandmother. she taught all of her kids to shoot and hunt (grandfather was a long haul truck driver, and was seldom home). anyway, while she is gone from this earth, she will truly never be gone. she will live forever in your heart.

Condolences on your mom's passing. Only the luckiest of us get to enjoy life with the best of moms, as you surely did and I continue to although my mom's 80 and fading. I figure it's our duty to try to be the best for someone else in turn, though. Moms set a pretty high standard for us to try to follow.
