Sorry if Rich has already specified, but I was wondering if an exact time has been set for TFL to officially end? I know it sounds strange, but figured I'd be there when it happens. Probably raise a shot of very fine bourbon to it and Rich.

I believe it is the last day of this month...I thought I would miss TFL, but it appears all the good people made it over here, and this site rocks!

Midnight EST on the 31st of December. Rich is in the Eastern time zone.

I predict an amazing number of under the wire posts at TFL People are setting their watches as we speak.

TFL, as I understand it, is set to expire at the end of the year. So 12 for us EST time zoners and 9pm for you Westerners.

TFL was a great site but I agree with Bruz. Alot of good people have already made it here and I hope alot more do.

I was kind of bummed when I found out about the closing of TFL since I had recently found it. But as the sun sets on The Line, it rises here on The Road. Same group, same attitude, same passion, different venue.

Very sad, but I think between here and Gun-talk we will be able to keep up with just about everyone's gun goings on.

It will indeed be a sad event, but as Bruz implied, THR being up and running before then certainly lessens the passing of that marvelous endeavor!

Blackhawk, 257 posts in four days?! Eat a sandwich and hit the head, my friend. The No-Doze will be in the medicine cabinet when you get back.:) Happy Holidays. (Had to bust some "Senior Member" chops before the year ended.)

I left mine at an even 2200.

And there they will stay once the gears grind to a halt.

But I have to get busy and retrieve all the email addresses from my acquaintances over at TFL that didn't make the transition here to THR. :(

Like Rich suggested, go forth and multiply. A lot of same people, same attitude but new leadership. Cornered Rat is now Webmaster Rat and his renown has reached far abroad.

It is very important that we continue to spread the message that was started on TFL!
