yes yes I know that's a Jimenez arms but it shoots well (except for pinching that little flap of skin between my thumb and pointer sometimes)its a decent cheap gun I use on the range and like the taurus it has a lifetime warranty.although I don't think I would trust my life to it or any cheap gun as far as that goes!

I've owned two 9mms and never really was all that hot on the caliber until I learned to know and love the Nine for the great shooter that it is. I've primarily leaned toward .38/.357 and .45 ACP calibers, but enjoy shooting the 9mm and like the soft recoil and accuracy.

I owned a P-38 for a while (circa 1942) but traded it in on a Colt .45 ACP, then realized that I really enjoyed shooting 9mm, but prefered something a little less "Nazi." Then a few months ago, I found a really cool Sig P-226 and bought it (it was used-ex LE gun) and it's definitely a keeper. Right now 9mm is about the cheapest centerfire ammo out there, but things are going to change after Christmas according to my local gunshop guy. So I ordered a set of dies--I like the 9mm so much now, and shoot the SIG so much, I will reload for it. Maybe work up some accurate lead target loads for practicing and JHP for serious stuff.

Here's a picture of my new-to-me favorite gun, his name is Siggie.

Denfoote,

That luger is a beauty.

Thanks.
The way I figure it, if you are gonna have a "9mm" club, you had better have the original represented!!! :D

Here is the other member of my meager Luger collection: 1936 "S42".

As near as I have been able to determine, it was made at or soon after the time when Adolf Hitler repudiated the Treaty of Versailles.

It's called "9mm Luger" for a reason!!! ;)

Wa-da-da-dang, wa-da-da-da-da-dang, listen to my nine millimeter go BANG!:D

I also have a Kahr MK9, but don't have a great picture of it yet. Next up, possibly a G34 or XD9 Tactical.

Your wife will definately have the advantage with that gun....the badguy will either be pukeing his guts out or laughing so hard he will be doubled over in pain and either condition will be difficult to shoot in.
