California is losing another place to shoot. The thread about the San Gabriel Valley Gun Club closing reminded me to post this.

This Agoura indoor shooting range, on the western edge of Los Angeles county, has been there forever, but the new owner of the shopping mall wants to rebuild the mall for a more "upscale" crowd.

Anyone nearby may want to stop by to shoot. After December, it's gone.

The mall as it looked thirty years ago can be glimpsed in the 1976 movie, Cannon ball with David Carradine. The scene of the "mellow" couple with the Corvette evading the policeman has the Arcade building in the background.

When it rains ...

I just read where some "gentleman" fired off a tracer round that set the range on fire a couple of days ago!

Makes no sense to repair the range given that there are only a few months left in the lease.

Amazing.

The owners are good people. I have all the firearms I need, but I'm going to buy something from their inventory. They have lots of long guns on the wall.

LOL. I remember that scene. I saw it a few weeks ago on TV.

Sorry to hear it is getting shut down though. That blows.

Thank goodness, that place is a dump. A lot of suicides happened there over the years. I was there about a month ago trying to locate a Kahr just to handle and the brain donor working the counter swept me several times with the strangest looking revolver I have ever seen.

Is that the indoor range by the old Whizzin's Market? I lived in Agoura and graduated from AHS. Lived on Rainbow Crest Dr.
