Saw one at auction for $120. May make for a good HD back-up or toolbox gun...

8 rds of 38super or 9mm. I think there's a barrel change option...

Anybody with experience with this? Most probably those who've been assigned in the Mid-east one time or another...

Wud appreciate your inputs ;)

I just noticed... :scrutiny:

The rear sight is missing!!! Look at the second pic!!

Something tells me this gun would be a BAD idea...

For $120, you can't go too far wrong. Buy it and tell us about it. No one here seems to have ever heard about it so you could have the only one.

Firestar, I disagree...You can definitley go wrong with 120 dollars....In fact, I can think of a couple particular guns that arent worth 120. It may be the most expensive paper weight you ever buy.

And expecially when you can take that 120 bucks and get some nice guns, like the CZ 50 or 52, or a tokarev, or a mak....

I don't think the gun looks that bad. For $120, I might consider buying one if I new they were reliable and semi-accurate. Of course I could get a new Hungarian Hi-Power clone (PJK-P9M) for $199, so maybe not....

It looks like the love-child of a Ruger and a Hi-Point. :scrutiny:

I think a tackle-box gun would be its best use, as a layer of fish guts could only improve its appearance. :uhoh:

A lot of "Ummm's" and "Hmmm's", I sense...

For the culprit, read here : http://www.kaddb.com/default.asp

The one being sold is a blued, 38Super. Ugly and worn as heck... :barf:

Hey, for $120, it really got me thinking...

But if I add costs for licensing, ammo and stuff, & loss of income attending to those--- not a pretty good deal. :(

Besides, my beloved USP won't allow it! :D

But looking at it objectively:

It's got ambidextrous slide mounted safety, I suppose it has a decocker ala Bersa, it's single stack (good for smallish hands) and has that 3-taper slide design ala BHP, and snag-free Novak rear sight, all for ease in IWB carry. It's DA/SA with C&L capability.

Looking at the trigger, it seems the SA stroke is very shortish, aiding in accurate shooting, While the long DA trigger position promotes cond# 2 carry.

What else... the barrel has got a single locking lug up top, but no links! Hmmm...

No ramp, so this may only be good for ball ammo. And there's that generously extended slide release lever, solid, not stamped metal. The machining looks fair to good.

I think it merits some attention... emphasis on some :D:D:D

I didn't even know Jordan made pistols.:what:
I still think you should buy it. $120 isn't much money to have the only Viper on the block.:D
It looks good from the pics, much better than a Jennings Nine or a Hi-Point. For $120, I would give it some thought if I could see it first hand. It may be better or worse in person.

I am not too sure about Arab engineering though.:neener:

Its not a bad looking gun.
I'd chance it. If anything it will be a collection piece... and how many people here can say they ever fired a pistol from Jordan?

Most squared away Country in the Middle East? That means exactly Jack Squat. Earlier today I observed a fellow that slit all the skin between his fingers and toes... he was afraid that he was turning into a Frog. He would squeeze his eyes shut as hard as he could every time he swallowed... like how frogs swallow with their eyes. You see, a Witch cast a spell on him because he wronged her in some way... and well, you get the picture. Anyways, the Hospital Staff said he was the most normal of all the patients in the Mental Ward.

What does it say about the pistol and the company when the gun in the advertising photo on their website is missing its rear sight? There's some attention to detail for you. :scrutiny:
