A friend of mine had one of those little 2mm pinfire novelty pistols many years ago. He had shot it once or twice loaded with a single pellet of birdshot. He said it was used to hunt pink elephants. :D

I was looking around on ebay. SEVERAL sellers have those 2mm pinfires on there!
a little pricey, you can get a full size BP revolver for what some are asking. But I still want one!

However, I just went back and looked at some. Read the descriptions carefully. Some, but not all, have filled the barrels with solder. I guess trying to... honestly, I dont know why.

I’m trying to join. “22 rimfire” was introduced as America’s first self contained cartridge and was charged with primer compound and a “pinch” of black powder. My most recent purchase is a true antique from the 1870s, but it needs a little love. I will have it running soon enough. Photo from the auction listing...payment is in the outgoing mail so I’m hoping for arrival in a week or so.

Very nice! Keep us updated on your progress on it.

[QUOTE="Venom007, post2309, member: 251130"Anyone have the one shot stop rating on 2mm pinfire?[/QUOTE]
Yep. Guaranteed to drop mosquitos with one shot. Butterflies and moths may require two shots. However, the problem is getting them to stay perfectly still while you get point blank to no more than 6 inches away for the first shot.
No guarantee for clean, quick kills.:D

hello folks! i have decided to start this club because nobody else has. if you have a small blackpowder pistol (even a .50 caliber muff pistol or something ridiculous) then post a picture and you're in the club! these guns can be anything, from a Remington Rider Derringer to a 1863 pocket Remmy. as long as it is meant to be pocket sized runs off of black powder. I'll post my two NAA mini BP revolvers soon, i need to find a good working camera. I'll start, here is my Remington Rider.
