typical of them. they don't allow forums, blog replies, nor do they show the results of a poll without their chance to review them.

they also didn't miss the chance to ask for a donation at the end.

I've been on their mailing list for a couple of years. Occasionally they ask their subscribers to forward the I edit the message by deleting their words and inserting mine.

I've been doing this w/ the "ACLU" for a couple years now. I don't know if it works but it sure feels good.

I was surprised they allowed you to really choose an answer. I was expecting:

How strongly do you believe that it is imperative that a complete gun ban be put in place immediately?

A) I agree
B) I really agree
C) I agree completely
D) Oh my G-d... YES!

Really?................... If I actually received anything from people with that signature, I will accuse them of harassment and take them to court.
Why? Look at my signature. Simple enough?
 
If anything I think they're testing the waters, seeing how much
opposition they would face.

Since this thread has come back from the dead, I feel it's worth taking a minute to talk about it.

I don't want -anyone- here to be under any illusion that there's any benefit for our side to be gained by interacting with Brady surveys.

The Brady organization has demonstrated a willingness to outright lie in the past, and I see no reason to believe that has changed.

Those surveys exist for one reason, and one reason only: to demonstrate "popular" support for the Brady position, and they WILL SERVE THAT PURPOSE, no matter what.

If they even bother to actually, you know, process and look at the data, the most reaction you'll get is one of bemusement, "Aw, look at the gun nuts! They stuffed our survey! How predictable", before declaring that data to be invalid and flushing it down the data toilet, leaving only respondents in support of them standing.

Yep, this is why Bloomberg is blaming Virginia for the "illegal" guns that are found in New York. Virginia as that stupid 1 handgun every 30 days law. Either Brady or Bloomberg are lying, and I'm willing to bet they both are.

it must be the guns that are causing all these problems.

Just last night I caught my AR-10 coming home at 3AM...it didn't ask permission to leave. :rolleyes:

ok, sarcasm off. - I invite them to come try to take my "assault weapon" from me.
