Not new thread worthy..... But I just bought a 75d compact. Beautiful gun. All I can find is info on the PCR. No place on my gun does it read "pcr", the CZ website shows my gun as the pcr. Is there any difference between a 75d compact and a PCR?

The PCR has a decocker and an alloy frame. Your post says you have a 75D compact. Is that a 75 compact? The PCR is a 75D compact.

image.jpg Thank you Larry. It must be a pcr. Nothing in the gun says "PCR", the tag said 75D..... But as I looked at the box, the UPC has "PCR" on it. Didn't know if there was a standard 75D Compact that wasn't alloy.

CZ can be weird in how they mark guns, and also on the variety of guns. My 2000 made 75D PCR does have "PCR" on the slide, but it is very feint, and hard to see. Also, some PCR's are not marked PCR at all, and some P-01's are marked 75D. The "D" means de-cocker. I don't believe CZ produces any all steel (steel frame, steel slide) de-cocker compacts, so if it is compact and a decocker without a rail it is a PCR.

Odd question here; if you had an extra SP-01, and an extra P-01, and had to get rid of one of them, which would it be?

Oh that's an easy one, considering your screen name.

Sell one of each and get a custom 97b from Cajun Gun Works.

That exact thought came to mind a week ago when I was on their website! I'm pretty well set on .45's at this point. But the custom 97B is very tempting.

To my knowledge, the Police model has a lanyard ring, reversible magazine catch (release?), serrated trigger and a checkered front and back grip strap.

What model is this CZ [description]:

P-07
Black
Night Sights
End of barrel sticks out 1/2", but not threaded.
Price around $560

There's one at my local gun shop, but don't see anything on the CZ-USA page about it. Thanks for the help.

its a variation of the P07. its not listed in the catalog. CZUB has a tendency to do this sometimes.
This version seems to be carrying the SKU 91185

from what i have seen of photos and heard.
factory tritium night sights
15 rnd magazines
ext. barrel
safety only

Is it worth the price my gunshop is asking for it? Any issues with it? Need any and all relevant information before I decide to get it tomorrow.

Thanks for the help, guys!

sorry I don't have first hand owners knowledge. This is from my research on the platform.

three listed on Gunbroker. asking bid ranging from $500 to $575.
standard P07 price around $425-$450, P07 night sights run $85.

In Canada, the difference between restricted and prohibited pistols is a barrel length of 4.2 inches.

For clarification, the grips for the SP-01 are the same as the full sized CZ 75, correct?
