The Final Report on George Stringer

    I have just received a phone call from Adrian Stringer, Son of George Stringer.

    He has advised me that George, when he had his heart attack, that he had a severe lack of oxegen to the brain and has lost much of his short term memory. He has been accepting jobs, but will be unable to do them. George will not be back to work as he had planned.

    Adrian explains, that due to the numerous phone calls the number was disconnected from stringer gunsmithing. He further advises that the family is going to send all guns back to the owners and our patience is requested. He, Adrian, also stated that any monies sent will be returned.

    Additionally, it was stated that regardless of what Mrs Stringer and George indicate to all, (returning to work) is not in the very near future, and that no more firearms should be sent for repair.

    It is unfortunate that this had to happen, and I wish George a speedy recovery.

    My heartfelt sympathy to George and his family. What I will always remember about George is his friendly help to all who asked questions at his website, with no expectation of reward. His web presence will be missed by me and many others.
