Sig 228, followed by a 232, then a 226, a Beretta Cougar in .45, a Tomcat, H&K USP45C . . . . now I have many chambers/cylinders to feed :D

My first pistol was a S&W Mod 39, but I quickly traded it for a satin nickel Colt Combat Commander .45 because it was cooler.

My first pistol

My first pistol was a S&W Model 10-8. It has the nickle finish and the heavy barrel. It had under 50 rounds through it and I knew the old man. I told me that every young man should own at least one model 10. I still have it and wouldn't trade it for any other revolver in the world. Gotta love that S&W feel.

A colt woodsman .22. About 1976. I lived out in the West End (Forks, WA> AKA Loggerville) and there were a lot of places in the woods to shoot. We would buy cases of .22 ammo, 2500 rounds at a time. No tin can was safe! I got so good with that gun it was boring and traded it for a colt single action .22 /.22mag. Wish I still had them both.

Actually I bought 2 at the same time. A Springfield XD Tactical in 9mm and a Ruger Mark III 22/45.

I was looking for something low cost to get into USPSA shooting with and the XD fit the bill. I am very happy with it so far. I bought the Ruger for my son to learn with and for me to use as a cheap training gun.

First Semi Auto: Walther PPK/S made by Interarms in .380ACP. Still have it
First Revolver: Ruger Blackhawk 6-1/2" barrel in .357magnum. Sold it last month. Pre-warning too I think. Since I got double action revolvers, I just didn't shoot it often.

My first handgun was an early 70s vintage Model 19 S&W .357. with the original blue box Why? Because it was an early 70s vintage Model 19 S&W .357 with the original blue box.

My first gun was a Colt Police Positive MkV .38 Special. I still have it, though I wish I'd bought two since they stopped manufacturing it only a year later. :(
