just saw a 2 hr documentary on this man. He refused to carry a weapon in all of his time during ww2. went through the worst bloodbaths, and got out guy after guy , time and time again. Truly incredible. He passed away four months ago in Alabama. I never heard his name mentioned on the news anywhere, yet this man was almost more than a regular human being for the things he had done.
