I have a 38spl that is just as light as this 22 mag, but there's just something about it. It's for sticking in my pocket sitting around the house, tucking in my sweat shorts checking the mail.... Maybe it's seven rounds versus five that has me hooked, I don't know. I hate to admit it, but I love this gun. I'm not ashamed, but considering I have other options I still gravitate toward it for the low threat environment. Mind you, I always have something more potent within reach but this has become my constant companion.

What's your gun that you hate to love?

My EDC for years is the Taurus Spectrum .380. It is perfection in the sense
that it just runs without any flaws. Perfect pocket carry in an Uncle Mike's.

I have a spectrum. Put a arma laser on it … it’s a sweet little shooter and reliable.

Keltec P17. Pretty ugly depending on your definition of beauty. Holds really nice in my hand. Much better trigger than I had expected. Has functioned flawlessly with the ammunition I have tested. It is so lite that I don't even notice it when I am carrying when hiking. It looks kind of ugly but is a beautiful gun!

I would like to mention the screws that hold the two halves together. Kettec could have saved money by just ultrasonically welding the two halves together making the pistol impossible to dissemble. I appreciate that they went the extra yard to make the pistol so it can be disassembled via these screws instead of a disposable piece pf plastic like so many other goods sold these days.

I'm ashamed to admit, that I really like this pistol.

I don't think it has EVER failed.
It is a puny .380, but i carry CorBon 99gr hp in it.
So light, so discreet.
I carry it like 007 carried his Walther. Last hope.
If Mrs F is with me, I carry the Hellcat[

I've got a half dozen choices laying on top of the tall freezer in the mud room before going out into the property here in rural Mississippi. But, its always a .44 Bulldog on my hip and this little goofball in my hip pocket stoked with #12 birdshot. An RG .22. Had it since 72' just like the Bulldog. RG22.jpg

A number of years ago for reasons related to red refrigerators I ended up owning a Desert Eagle in 50 AE. It is a completely ridiculous gun. I can't think of a single thing it does that other options don't do better. It is way to big to carry. Recoil is oppressive.

I love it.

Every time I shoot it it leaves a stupid grin on my face, and it is the gun that gets the most "oohs" and "aahs" when showing off my collection. I ended up adding a 44 mag and 429 DE barrel.

Only thing close to this might be my Glock 29 . Have considered trading it off on a few occasions. But it’s still here. It is a whole lot of power in a small package

I don't like that I enjoy shooting my Remington R51. It's such a pita to disassemble and clean, the workmanship is shoddy, and the parts are about as cheaply made as can be.

But it's still very reliable with my handloads, soft shooting, and accurate

I bought the Remington RM380, a design taken from the Rohrbaugh R9. It is flawless through over 500 rounds. It is such a sweet shooter, but alas, those truly unfamiliar with it, have a tendency to have bad things to say about it. Anyone here ever have the Rohrbaugh R9?

Here’s the RM380:
