The gun you hate to love....

keltec p17 22 auto. made of plastic junk, cheap but works, nice trigger and shoots well.
,,,btw i refuse to give machined metal prices for a plastic gun. jmho.
I have 2. They have all the bells , whistles others have. Super light, I have countless friends that have bought them. Mine will feed anything.

I bought the Remington RM380, a design taken from the Rohrbaugh R9. It is flawless through over 500 rounds. It is such a sweet shooter, but alas, those truly unfamiliar with it, have a tendency to have bad things to say about it. Anyone here ever have the Rohrbaugh R9?

Here’s the RM380:

No, but I bought two of those RM380s.
I thought those were great value pocket pistols - gifted them to a son and a grandson (who made it his EDC).

I guess I would have to say my black P32. It's been flawless for almost 600 rounds, and I love it and rely on it for discreet carry. However, my FDE P32 has failed (broke, not stopped) twice in 700 rounds, which serves as a nagging reminder in the back of my brain that these are cheap guns.

My Ruger SP101 2.25" 357 Magnum the one I hate to love. So much so, I sold my first SP 2.25" DAO 357, missed it and bought this one. Only 5 rounds, makes my hand feel like I slammed it in a car door shooting 158gr full tilt 357s but carrys & conceals so easily. Shooting 38spl is painless and I find myself carrying it more than anything else. This thread made me realize I didn't even have a picture of it until now.

Yes, I had the R9 Slelth, It was the most expensive good looking piece of junk I ever bought. I got it direct from the company through a FFL friend.
It went back so many times, the owner at that time refunded my purchase price.

This is my "Quick Pocket Stuffer".... Love how I can wear it with just gym shorts and it doesn't even weigh the waistband down.... I have other guns I really "Love to Hate", but I think this is more in line with the original thread.... View attachment 1265805
I’ve had a 32 almost 30 or more years, and this 380 for 21 years, shoot the both regularly, never a problem. The 32 likes Win Silver tip jhp, and PMC JHP, and gold dot. The 380, no on gold dot but good on Hornady Hrdro shok.

I guess my French 1935S qualifies. I've yet to get it to reliably cycle with handloads, but I still like it for some reason.

These were for sale cheap long ago. A Friend bought one. I was tempted, but the caliber was .32 long and I didn't think ammunition would be easy to find. So I passed. I see they are available now in 9 MM.

Sort of -- the MAC 1950 is basically a 1935S scaled-up for 9x19.

You don't see a lot of those in the USA, so they can get pricey.

I have an R9 Stealth

It's a pain to load. It's a pain to unload. It can be a pain to clean. Being stainless, it's nowhere near historically accurate. It has very little practical value, but man is it fun. Uberti Remington New Model Army in stainless with Howell 45 Colt conversion cylinder.

Heck I even bought a beautiful rig from Craig C and a belt from another fine fellow here, (can never remember his handle), and I've worn it once.

Right there with you brother! Mine are blued Piettas and the Howell conversions are for .45 ACP, counterbored to also accept 45 Auto Rim

And I've got three of them now -- I bought a second shorty last year.

The astonishing thing is that despite these revolvers and conversion cylinders being manufactured at different times and on different continents, they index perfectly and shoot pretty close to the fixed sights.

Mine all like the same handloads as my Webley MkVI with a shaved cylinder -- I use Trail Boss and these bullets from Matts:
