    Hey Folks,

Sorry for the bit of spam - but it is gun related.

Since none of the major web log awards want to recognize gun bloggers, I decided to host The Gunnies and honor those bloggers.

Right now, I am still taking nominations for participants in the following categories:

    Best Gun Pr0n
    Most Educational
    Best Rants
    Best Legal Analysis
    Best Aggregator
    Best Range Reports
    Best commentary
    Best Gun Post

The winner of each category as well as a few "at large" nominees will then face off against each other for the sort of coveted title of Best Gun Blogger 2006.

Please stop by and make a nomination. Voting should commence by the end of the week.

    Thanks!

Box O' Truth would be the "Looks Like the Most Fun" award if there was one.

Is there a Best Gun Forum Award? I guess the winner is obvious.:D

    Thanks Gentlemen!

Do you have a link to Stephen Camp's blog? BoxOfTruth? (I don't think I am familiar with it - unless its the guy who builds wooden boxes and does ballistics testings in them. If so, yes, thats an awesome sight.)

As far as best forum, I was going to include that in the running but decided to hold off this time just to keep things manageable for myself.

Well, for Gun Pr0n, I should mention Ken Lunde's site. It's just too cruel...

Oleg also deserves serious mention in a couple of categories.

Thats a great page, though its not really a blog.

Oleg has been nominated (most deservedly) multiple times

    You can't forget www.madogre.com
George Hill is always a good read. He was blogging before anyone even knew what it was.

    Thanks.

I noticed that and am trying to figure out how to correct the issue. I've got a request into the polling softwares author about it.

For best commentary I nominate Geekwitha45. He has a great blog. It's a tossup between his and Kevin Baker's Smallest Minority.
