    I generally hate it when people respond right away to a question with "do a search" but in this case it may be your best bet. It really has been hashed to death here (and there).

    It's not very clear what the question actually was meant to ask.

    But, Treo had the best advice in the first response. We can't answer the question to any degree of satisfaction no matter whether the question concerned anything from the site's existence to the state of the site server.



    ... and it's "hear, hear" as in "listen up", or "hear what he is saying". If a positional adverb was needed, then the cry would be "hear there" rather than "hear here" since it is most always shouted when someone else has said something with which the shouter agrees or wants others to hear. It's archaic at any rate, the proper modern cry that means the same thing is "Word!" :D
