Obviously they are pretty commited to their contribution towards making the USA a frivolous lawsuit rich environment. :barf:

It is interesting that between the Million Moron Mommies , "NRA Blacklist" and the Brady bunch, there's only 175,000 of 'em.

Man, what a crock. That's like suing Ford because a drunk driver killed someone while driving one of their cars.:banghead:

That's probably not as farfetched as you think. Relatives of persons killed in crashes of small airplanes have gotten piles of money out of the manufacturers, even when the crashes were clearly due to pilot error. I gotta believe that it's only a matter of time before the auto makers are facing similar suits. Consider also the cases where lifelong smokers (or their relatives) have gotten money from tobacco growers.

    TimRB is right

    Lawsuits against manufacturers of private
aircraft (Cessna, Piper, etc.) virtually bankrupted,
and ruined the General Aviation industry.
    Today, a 110HP, 105 MPH 2 place (seats) Cessna 152
based on 50 year old technology/tooling
is approaching the $100K price and MOST of it
    is due to 'product liability'.
Even today, if some child cuts himself (or herself)
on some corroded hulk of a Beech T18 in the middle
of a field, Beech WILL be sued.
The manufacturer is ultimately responsible for the
    airframe FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!
Two thirds of the WORLDS lawyers are in the
United States, FAR too much supply chasing FAR
too little demand - so demand is created - called
    the 'lawyer lottery' -
Kinda goes like this - Hey, client, you're hurt, wasn't
your fault (never is), let's sue'em and if we win
I get 40% of whatever we get and if we lose
it won't cost you a cent' - most people see dollar
signs and sign up drooling and panting at the propect
    of getting a gazillion dollars.
The ONLY reason this hasn't been tried against
car maufacturers YET is that the manufacturers are
still rich enough to make too expensive to try but
give the bottom feeders time and they will be
suing anyone they can for anything they can.
As I heard someone say once, if this continues,
in a few years all ANYONE will be doing is selling
insurance because no one will manufacture ANYTHING
    due to product liability.

That's not true is it? If a dealer breaks the law he can still be prosecuted/sued.

"Together with the NRA Blacklist and the Brady Campaign we are 175,000 strong. "

    Noticed what they're saying here?

They're listing everyone who signed up to "protest" on an internet site, their total numbers in the Brady Bunch and the Coupla Commie Chicks - as being 175,000.

They are nowhere anywhere that close to numbers who'd give one darned tootin'.

    But, don't slack off.

They're being beaten into the ground, know it, their backs are against the wall, & now's the time to push that car right over the cliff.

I knew it was bad. I didn't know it was horrendously bad.
