I found it on GB and won the auction. View attachment 1219544
Someone had some interesting custom work done on it.

It has a rear sight.
Shortened barrel.
Buffed and blued.

I am thrilled with it. Much more than I expected.
I would like to find an appropriate authentic styled holster and grips....maybe a Tyler grip adapter too.
is that your property? looks nice & relaxing

I have a couple oldies, but nothing that can compete with the likes of Driftwood and Craig. Great thread Bro AF! It really brightened my Sunday afternoon.

what… you don’t like my 1964 Colt Pimp SAA?!?!? it’s a birth gun for the OP! Got 2 of them too

Forgive me, dear Mark! How could I not positively covet your pimp-alicious SAA?!?!? You know, you should send AF one for his birthday, and the other to me for *cough* testing *cough cough*.

My only semi-vintage revolvers are a Colt Officers Model Heavy Barrel, that was worked on by King, dating from the 1930’s. And my Great Uncle’s duty M&P from the 1940’s. (This S&W was really holster worn, so it was refinished.)

All my other stuff is of more recent manufacture. :D

Stay safe.

And mine, bro.
I'm recovering from a recent surgery, so spending more time on thr than usual.
I ventured out to my long neglected mancave this Sunday afternoon. See what I found?

Something caused an empty hard rifle case to slide off my overhead shelf and bomb the powder canister on my mec 650 that was sitting on the workbench.

I didn't lose enough RedDot to cry over.....but I'm pretty sure my bottom lip was quivering a llittle.

You'll have that occasionally... darn rats anyway! Pity that it happened, but even more of a pity it didn't happen a couple months ago, as I sold a 650 with two extra jugs. I gave them away with the machine so I'd happily sent you one. Hope you are recovering well enough, won't be long until harvest so you'll darn sure want to be well!

Those MEC canisters get brittle with age. They turn yellow like yours did. It might have survived the blow if it was not so brittle.

I replaced one on my MEC Jr a couple of years ago.

Be glad it was the powder canister and not the shot canister. You will never find all the loose shot from a broken shot canister.

1932 M95, probably more of an oddity than vintage.

1917, a bit more vintage.

Smells like...Victory! Well, defeat. I'm not sure if the person I got this from threw a double charge, or was going for a .38spl+P+ load. The cylinder was never found. He had another, that I got from him, that was rusted up on the outside pretty bad, but the bore and chambers were still in good shape, and it's in good mechanical condition. They were both matching pistols, both had (mine still does) .38special cylinders, not re-bores or re-chamberings, but they were/are both .38S&W pistols. No lack of accuracy from the larger .38S&W bore. No, they are NOT .38 S&W Cylinders reamed out for .38 Special.

Is a New Model Super Blackhawk "vintage"? Maybe not. I may have violated the Law of this thread. I got this when they first hit the stores.

Oh, I know.
I had one set up upstairs in a spare room in our old farm house about 35 or 40 years ago. It had a tall shot canister to load 200 trap loads at one sitting.
Mrs F accidentally tipped it over while vacuuming.
She wasn't happy. At all.
All the years later, she still gets an occasional 7½ shot clatter it's way up the vacuum sweeper.
