...not exactly "shall issue", but it's gotta start somewhere.

    JUST THINK...

Like the vast majority of others, this island state will soon find out, the ordinary good citizen is NOT out to shoot everything, just self defense IF necessary and I add, as following human nature, as a last resort.

Good for the good ppl of HI !

Issuing a carry permit/license should not be newsworthy; it should be normal (actually, it should be needless.)

    DoubleMag writes:

It's never been about that. Hawaii has already known that. It's about control and suppression. An armed citizenry has power the government wants for itself.

If one were to evaluate this story through the “glass half full/glass half empty” perspective, it ain’t great news.

    Maui Police Dept FAQ:

Q: Does this allow "Dog the Bounty Hunter" to finally carry a gun?
A: Duane Chapman is a convicted felon (1st degree murder) and is prohibited from carrying or buying any firearm.

Luckily, my son is not a convicted felon……but he has been to Maui.

Yeah, he never brushes his hair high up top like that. He usually sports a ponytail.
And both of them are considerably slimmer than the real characters. :D

Well the states that have in the past have made a carry permit almost impossible to get will make it very difficult and/or expensive to get.
NJ requires a training course that costs about $400.00 +-. three refrences and is only good for two years.

My wife, outside Kahala Mall in Honolulu, December 2020.

When I was working in Hawaii for a few months then, she came out and one of her favorite stars is Jack Lord. She immediately made sure a visit to this memorial bronze bust of Jack Lord was on the agenda for us!

Elvis Presley gave John Ryan (KPA Jack Lord) a gold-plated PPK once. Very pretty. Was auctioned off for 28.8 large.

I hated that Hawaii 5-0 show.
