Old thread, but I found that a Fist leather #2 for a Glock 26 (open muzzle end) fits my CZ-P01 better than the glock 26 it is designed for! The muzzle protrudes about .5", so the same holster for a G19 would probably fit perfectly!

^^agreed, but glad you found it-was emailing a couple of folks trying to find something to fit my charter arms mag pug and firestar .40
prompted me to do some more searching and the Galco SOB218B for 1911 types w/3.5 in barrels fits the firestar...

My Don Hume JIT. slide holster # 26 made fo my Beretta 96 / 92 FS. is a perfict fit for my S&W 1006 with the round trigger guard. Also my Safariland #4,340,437 S&W-L made for my S&W 686 with a 4in. bbl. will also fit my COLT Python and my RUGER GP-100. This is a duty type holster made to fit a 2 1/2 in duty belt, it has 2 allen head set screws to snug it to the belt. There is another # above the model # . It is 200 seperated by the antelope's head then A94.:)

Sig P232 fits perfectly in the IWB Bianchi holster I have that was originally made for a Walther PPK.

Galco OWB for a Ruger P90 will hold a Sig P239. Thumb break isn't snug, and there is an extra 3/4" of unused leather at the bottom, but it works fine for IDPA. In fact I used the Galco as a pattern to make a new holster specifically for the 239. Haven't made the holster yet, but I have the pattern done.

Just found out something similar - that a Safariland Model 27 IWB holster made for the the Glock 17/22/31 will fit a CZ SP-01 perfectly!

I just got a CZ75D Compact and found that it fits well in a SIG P228 holster. :) This is a Dillon Leather by Mitch Rosen, very rigid and detail molded to the SIG, so I have confidence that other "off the rack" holsters will also fit. It also fits passably into a Don Hume IWB for a Glock 19, but not into a more rigid Galco Royal Guard for the same gun. So gun/holster fit is very dependent on how rigidly/tightly fitted a holster is to a given handgun.

In reference to the earlier post about L-frame cylinders not fitting K-frame holsters, it's not so much the cylinder as the depth of the frame. Ruger Security/Service/Speed Six and GP100, the S&W L-frames, and Colt Pythons are about the same size, and can usually share holsters. Some K-frame holsters can stretch to fit these sixguns, such as my El Paso Saddlery Threepersons rig, but by no means all of them.

Just found out this one to my delight:A CA Bulldog fits in a Desantis thumbreak for an SP101...I was surprised and happy, more money for ammo.

Great thread!

My wife does Web design stuff and she says she'll put the info in this thread into a Wiki-type database that is user update-able if I'll sort out the interchangeability posts that are here so far...
I've got nothing else to do besides shoot, load, feed horses, mend fences and go to work... So what the *. I'll print it all out and get started. I don't have enough to do...

My contribution is:
A Kahr K40 will fit into most Makarov holsters and vice versa. I use an Old World 23017 belt slide for both. It took a little effort to get the thumb break to fit over the Maks, but now it works very well. The Kahr also drops nicely into the full-flap Makarov milsurp holster, but the mag is a tight fit. The cheap EG Mak shoulder holsters also handle the K40 securely as well.
The Sig P220 and the Tanfoglio Witness .45 (and by way of speculation the CZ75) fit almost all non-molded holsters interchangeably, but I know they fit the El Paso Leather (a South African company - don't ask me how I ended up with a South African holster) molded leather holster made for the USP 40.
A bit off topic is that my Milt Sparks mag holders for the Glock 20 fit Tanfoglio and CZ double stack .40 and .45 mags.

In reference to my post #78, I just checked and my Don Hume H721 #26-5" O.W.B with thumb brake made for my Beretta 96 / 92 FS. is also a perfict fit for my S&W 1006 with the round trigger guard.

Most holsters for SIG 229 work great for Taurus Mil-Pro pistols.
Uncle Mikes "Super Belt Slide" Size 20 fits a CZ-75, CZ-52, and 1911 style guns

EDIT: And I'm now the owner of a Galco retention holster intended for a 3" 1911 style pistol that fits my Bersa Thunder 380 Concealed Carry model just dandy (so apparently that style of leather holster will work for BOTH the Thunder 380 and the Thunder 380 Concealed Carry)

Just found that the Bianchi AccuMold Belt Slide Size 15A I bought for a long departed Sig 239 fits my new Walther P99 better than it ever fit the Sig.

any holster that fits the Taurus 24/7 Pro series seems to fit the Millenium Pro series as well.

My EDC is a Galco Matrix M7X446 kydex beltslide. Made for a Springfield XD, but fits my PT145 like it was made specifically for it. I've had good luck with fitting most XD holsters with this weapon in fact, except the one I really want- a Serpa CQC Level 2.

Kel-Tec P32/P3AT fit into the Galco DC404 even better than the WB404, since the WB404's thumb-break loosens up over time. That said, it's also thicker than the WB404 and lacks any thumb break, but you get a metal rigidity bit around the top for re-holstering.

Update, If you have a CZ-75b in .40 S&W you can use the FOBUS holster for a Beretta 92 (it's the same holster sold for both).

If you have a CZ-75b in 9mm you have to get the FOBUS specifically for that pistol or it'll shuck around and not "lock in".

Annoyingly there is no lefty 9mm holster yet (arrrrggghhh!)

Tagua leather retention holsters for the Glock 17 also work for the CZ-75b (all full size ones) though the fit is not perfect the retention strap will keep it from falling out.
