Got it from Temu. $3. They describe it as PU leather. It's obviously not leather but not a bad sheath.

I got three of these Bushman knives years ago for $39. Knives good, but came with horrible sheathes with plastic liners that disintegrated in a few months.

I pulled the knife out a little for the pictures.the blade is completely covered when it is fully inserted. Friction fit but pretty secure.

"PU leather" is polyurethane and won't last very long. It tears and abrades much easier than leather. Think cheap leather looking office chairs that leave fragments on your clothes.

I don't see any rivets, just a single layer of stitching. If there's no welt to protect the stitching from the blade the "sheath" isn't safe to use except as a blade cover in a box or drawer. Any sheath that doesn't have protection to keep the blade from cutting or poking through the stitching should be reevaluated for safety.

If there is no welt, put some brass or stainless staples in for insurance where the edge or point is most likely to go through like some of the WWII sheaths that didn't have a welt or rivets.

If you can't afford a safe sheath, kitchen blade guards are better than stuff like that.
You can get this set on Amazon for $7.

Even the Chinese make this comparison.

A cheap solution to bare blades is to get some scrap pvc pipe and heat it with a heat gun or in a toaster oven and flatten it with a board (you can press it, but just sit on the thing). Heat it back up and slide your cheap knife in and press it down until cool. Now you can cut the end off with an inch to spare and you have a cheap and effective blade cover for pennies.

The CS bushman is actually a spear head that can be used as a knife. A hardened spear head would shatter, so one can imagine the degree of edge retention these have.

It does appear that you got exactly what you paid for. Keep tetanus booster updated!
