I had a Crossmen 760 when i was a kid. Late 70's. It had a wood stock. Wish i had it now. A lot of fun with it. My mom used to yell at me for shooting birds.
They are a lot of Fun..still are..You don't see many with Wood Stock today...Mind has the Brass bolt..Just glad it still shoots Today..

My Ruger impact max has a wood stock. It was one of the reasons i bought it. Also ran into a fellow with one. I was impressed with the accuracy.

How old of gun is that ruger max..I was shooting a 3" target at 25 feet..Sometime the older bb guns shoot better..I'm going to try the new Daisy 25 not sure but will post later..

As far as bb guns i have a Red Ryder and a Buck. I have a Daisy bb pistol too.

You need more..I just bought a Winchester model 12 bb rifle at Midway USA.COM..37.99..I use to have one of these about 15 years ago..Looks just like the Real Wincherster...

I have other air guns too. I have 2 bee-man dual caliber rifles. A daisy power line and a swiss with a cheap precision stock. Besides what i already posted. I have a gammo pellet pistol too. And a bee-man pellet pistol. The bee-man is my favorite of all my air pistols. Accurate it has fiber optic sights. No co2 to use and a single pump.

My father started me out with a bb gun. It was a daisy pump. I remember him telling me it would split a Popsicle stick. Wow found one on amazon. I almost bought a cross-men 760 today at walmart 30 bucks. No one was at the counter. I had a stock person page for someone. Got tired of waiting.

Al, for a little more you can get a Daisy model 880. In my personal opinion, it's a better buy than the Crosman 760 because it has a rifled barrel and has an easier pumping lever. Both the 880 and 760 are plastic nowadays and are lightweight, but they're still a lot of fun.

Take care, Mark

According to Joe Murfin, the 880 started production June 1972. The early 880 had an oddball intake valve, but it can be made to use the new type seals that are still available for very little money. If it matters, they all had smoothbore barrels until early 1979. If the rear sight is held on with 2 screws, it's a smoothbore. If it's spot welded, it's rifled. A few details of the changes made to the 880 through the years, and a link to info on dating them is HERE.
