Looks good. I'm glad you posted this as I plan on doing the same thing next weekend to mine.

One question though, what did you do about the sights? Did you just coat over them?

    Yes I coated them.

    This is what I did,
    1. Put the parts in the blast cabinet and used aluminum Oxide to clear all the old Park.
    2. After blowing the dust off I cleaned all of the parts with thinner to remove any dirt or oil.
    3. Heated all of the parts to about 120 degrees. (This opens any pores and minimizes runs)
    4. using an Airbrush coat all of the parts evenly let them sit for a couple of minutes to tack up. (5 minutes is enough with airbrushed parts)
    5. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour.
Pull the parts out and let them cool.
That is it. Of course I had to go back in and polish the ramp because the Oxide blast roughed it up a bit.

Shoots like one too. We peened in the rails to tighten her up. Then hand lapped the slide. Replaced the hammer, Milled the grip safety. Polished the sear a little. Chip McCormick trigger, Did a full ramp job. She will eat almost any rounds you feed her. Wilson ext slide release, Replaced the barrel bushing(the original was already pretty tight but what the hell) Lapped the barrel into the bushing. Wolf 18.5# Springs.
