The story behind this video...

i saw that a while ago. It was deemed fake and for training purposes. One of the biggest tells being the cops holstered their weapons before making sure the suspect couldn't reach for a gun just in case he wasn't dead.

Although that could be false, that was just from a thread on a car forum i was on at the time. Let me see if i can dig it up

The thread i found of it back then was from 2009, and it was supposedly a training video.

if you notice as he put down the rifle, he pulls out a handgun from behind is back when the officer in the rear yells "GUN"

Also, notice the camera man isn't taking cover, and i think more importantly the approaching officer's gun doesn't recoil. Now if you suggest that the officer in the back shot him, he wouldn't of fallen backwards (i think). He would of fallen backwards if the officer in front shot him.

I have found a few website about this event and calling it training but none of them are listing departments or anything like that.

Thanks for your research. I did notice that the approaching LEO's gun didn't recoil so I assumed the shots came from the officer who was behind. Good point about the camera man not taking cover and the officer holstering his weapon too soon. Although I'm not sure one can determine where shots came from based on the reaction the 'target' had.
