As it was pouring down buckets today (I know, right? Western Washington in late October), I got a few of the family out of the safe to clean today ... You might detect I favor non-railed SIGs, but what's better than one Legion? That's right: two Legions. Just noticed I only got one .45 out, must scrounge around for the others ... Any other SIG guys here?

I'm a recent convert with only two-- 1911 Ultra and P938. I bought the second because I liked the first so much. There will be more.

I'm a Sig guy. I have a P226R NSW (non MK25), P226 Legion, P229 Legion, and P245. I'm taking a good hard look at a German P220 that's sitting in my LGS's used case too.

Well, I guess I qualify. One P229R in .40 S&W, one full-size P320 in .45 ACP, one compact P320 in 9mm Para, one subcompact P250 in 9mm Para.

I have a P229R duo tone in 40 but also have the 357 sig barrel for it and a P6. Never done any mods to the P6 and it's definately a keeper as is the 229. Also have an H&K P30V3 and a couple of others. Among which are Berettas, S&W's and FN's. Don't count the Bersa thunder 380 as the Mrs. laid claim to it.

Yep, got a mild case of the Sig-ness: p220 carry, p225, p6, p226, p228, two tone p228, Suiss police p228, and p229,

I have many more in my future including the P210 when that gets re-released. Currently I have a P220 Combat and P320 Carry in .357 Sig. My wife has a Sig 1911 Nightmare Carry in .45 for her carry gun and a 516 rifle. I finally paid for my Sig SD45 Silencer and I'm sending out the Form 4 tomorrow.

I gots the Sig-ness. Started with a P6 then all of a sudden there were S&W's, Stars, FEGs, Astras and a bunch of other stuff suddenly missing from the safe and a 2022 (bedside gun), 226, 239E2, 320 compact slide on subcompact frame (EDC), 250, , and a few more had taken their place.

It's gotten harder to shoot my other stuff I'm getting so used to the Sig manual of arms. Had a perfectly wonderful S&W 5906 out the other day and kept searching for the slide release. It's so far forward on the gun, compared to the 226, that it feels like it sits just behind the muzzle.

I decided I couldn't spend any more money on Sigs and there's nothing left to sell (okay a really nice Beretta/Stoeger Cougar and my last FEG BHP clone for maybe a 224) so I'm upgrading with G10 grips, a couple of new triggers, and night sights on the 320).

I too am in Western WA....and DJs in Bothell is my downfall. Hard to walk out of there without finding something interesting. Now if Bruce only gets a 224.....

I have had a few, starting with a Browning BDA .45 (a SIG P220 by any other name), and a P226. Still kick myself for not getting a BDA in .38 Super and 9mm. when they were at close-out prices. Currently have three in the fold and hoping to add a few more some day.

Of my 8 Sig's only one was made in Exeter, a P226. The rest 3 P228's, 3 P220's and 1 P225 were made in Germany. They were all bought new.

I really like the old Sig's.

You've got a very nice collection, I'm a big SIG Sauer fan as well, especially the old West German ones. I have a few SIGs but my 1994 West German P228 is my favorite, and I have a West German P226 that gets carried during the winter months though it's not as nice as my P228 (the P228 is a safe queen since it's in like-new condition).

A lot of people who think they have a 220 or 226 that was made in Germany actually have one that was made in Exeter NH. If it doesn't have a date code and proof marks it wasn't made in Germany. No idea how old the ones you have and I'm not saying they weren't made in Germany but just wanted to point out this fact.

There was a time that every SIG I owned was stamped, "Made in W. Germany." I've always appreciated the balance and feel of the folded-slide classics and am not particularly a fan of rails on pistols.

However, once having been forced as a condition of employment to accept and heavily utilize some NH SIGs, my experience with them was totally positive, and my tastes evolved to the point where I count my two Legions (226, 229), my P-238, the wife's P-225-1 and her P-238 as some of my favorite pistols of all time. I've seen a lot of the SIG snobbery, where the "purists" turn up their noses at all of the new SIGs, but my experience has been that the company continues to turn out some absolutely outstanding firearms. The company's new sights and triggers are remarkable advances.

I will say that my most beloved SIGs will always be my triple-serial W. German P-226 and its little brother P-228, though ...

As I said if it doesn't have date code under the dust cover and proof marks there almost a certain chance it was made in Exeter NH. Every single one of the sheet steal slides were made in Germany and shipped to the states after they started assembly here. That doesn't mean the whole pistol was made in Germany. I just wanted to point that out because I see a lot of used Sig listed for sale as "made in Germany" when they weren't. Back in the 80's and 90's they were all great quality pistols.
