That was flippin awsome. Did she range and set that all up her self or did she just pulll the trigger. Not that it matters cus even just pulling the trigger is no were close to easy at that distance.

It was already dialed, All she had to do is get behind the rifle and use some basic marksmanship skill. She did well, the target was hard to see with all that snow lol. When it comes to ballistics she is starting to get the hang of it. I have been working with her with my .308

What ammo were you using or if you were loading do you care to share your load data? Excellent shooting!

It is a friends Rifle, ArmaLite AR - 50

690gr bullet
215gr of WC867
Military brass is full length size

Looks like fun. Nice shooting on her part.

Have you tried that shot yet with the Scout??

To tell you the truth... I have tried 1000yards, farthest I could fling them was 900ish yards. and they were all over the place.

nice work! it takes more than just slapping the trigger at that range. always appreciate your vids clayne.

BTW, I've been saying it for YEARS, and I'll continue to say it.

After seeing my wife shoot my 22-250 rifle for the first time (her first time ever), some 12 years ago, and putting down a 1 hole group at 125 yards, I became CONVINCED that women are inherently better shooters than men.

They have better fine motor control and hand eye coordination than men, in general.

Women do make good shooters. I think it is the fine motor skills, translating to superior trigger control.

God, just watching that snow falling makes me happy that I don't ever have to target shoot in that kind of weather. Good shot. That's cool. I got my wife into shooting about five years after we started dating. She enjoys it now. I'm working her up to higher caliber rifles.
